Sean M. Rose, M.Ed., has more than 25 years of experience in the human service sector, working with families and communities, and advocating for their needs. He has held various leadership roles in the public sector, private organizations, and municipalities. As a long-standing advocate he has successfully partnered with schools, political leaders, and emergency services to overcome issues of all kinds. Over the course of his career, Sean has successfully enabled youth, families and communities to overcome barriers and meet their full potential.
Sean is also the founder and co-owner of Point School Puerto Rico, consults for O’Connor Professional Group out of Boston and is the President & CEO of Thrive Support and Advocacy. Sean is married to Maureen (White) Rose of Worcester. Both Sean and Maureen are the owners of Worcester Union Athletics, a women’s empowerment program.
They are the parents of four daughters, ages 18, 16, 15 and 12. He is a board member of Planting the Seed, 365Z Foundation Alumni, The Guild of St. Agnes, Notre Dame Academy and the Association for Developmental Disabilities Providers. He is a long-standing volunteer at Girls Inc. and Joe Schwartz Little League. He is also a member of the District Attorney's Opioid Task Force.
Sean earned a Bachelor’s Degree in liberal arts from Lesley University, and was awarded a Master’s Degree in education and school administration from American International College. He is also a certified K-8 Principal and a licensed Superintendent for all levels. If elected Sean plans to focus on the continued improvement of our schools, supporting citizen's needs and ensuring the safety of our community.
